Mosque Fund Raising

The masjid is the vocal point for Muslim community, is a place of prayer for all, a place of meeting and deliberation, a learning centre and celebration.  Therefore, by building a masjid you will not only earn the reward of providing a community with a place of worship known as House of Allah, and will continue giving benefit for generations to come Insha’Allah.

Maktab

                        Maktab
Securing your child’s Islamic future

The greatest investment any community can make is to invest in their children. Our children are our future. If we invest in today’s children and develop them into people who are firm in their Imaan, upright and respectful, and who cherish human value more than material wealth, then such an investment will reap tremendous returns and benefits for us as parents both in this world and the hereafter.

The Maktab has always played a pivotal role in developing the children of the Ummah. It is in the Maktab where our children learn the fundamental principles of Islam that enable them to live and practice as Muslims.

Make a Donation

Help us to maintain and develop the wide range of services we offer. Prophet Muhammad ï·º said: “Allah said: ‘Spend, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.’”

The  Islamic & Cultural Center of Launceston is totally self financing. The society receives no grants or income from any external body. Finances are generated through valuable donations, membership and fund raising events.

Just before end of May 2021 the Society had the sum of $ 100K Plus outstanding Al Hamdu lillah  everyone working hard to build the Mosque and Center by giving donations and making pledges. Almighty Allah has blessed our efforts and together we have raised the entire sum outstanding – so that we can build our wonderful Mosque/Cultural Centre! All praises are for Almighty Allah, the All-Knowing, the Wise, and the Supreme Creator.

The ICCT still needs to raise funds for Building Mosque, and for some additional outstanding work, so please continue to make your generous donations.

This progressive Society can look ahead to the other projects needed by the Ummah – such as facilities to bathe the dead, not to mention the urgent need to provide leisure and recreational facilities for our youths in order to keep them in an Islamic environment.

Let us work together to improve and build on our unique and wonderful Society.
